Shop Manager

We’re seeking a dedicated, experienced Truck Shop Manager to oversee our nighttime operations and make sure our trucks are ready for the road every morning. You’ll manage maintenance and repair during the night shift and lead a team of skilled mechanics — a role that’s critical to minimizing downtime and keeping our fleet in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, providing guidance and support to the team
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activity
• Communicate with daytime management on progress, issues, and follow-up work

Qualifications

• Proven truck maintenance and repair experience, with 3–5+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the trucking industry
